The Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) curriculum is a rigorous four-year program which provides a broad-based education to all students. This prepares them to enter a variety of career opportunities within veterinary medicine.
The Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine is accredited by the Council on Education of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Association of American Veterinary Medical Colleges, with the next site visit scheduled for 2026.
Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine graduates exceed the expectation of at least an 80% pass rate on the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE).
The Auburn University Veterinary Clinic is a full-service, primary-care community practice designed to provide state-of-the-art preventative, diagnostic, wellness and therapeutic care for canine, feline, avian and exotic small animals in all stages of life. Our mission is to provide excellent patient care and exceed the expectations of our clients while contributing to the clinical education of our senior veterinary students.
Bring any current medication(s) that your animal is taking as well as proof of vaccination and medical records to your appointment. Medical records can be faxed or emailed directly to our office.
Client parking is complementary and located directly in front of the Bailey Small Animal Teaching Hospital which is adjacent to the Auburn University Veterinary Clinic.
